Hello and welcome to the eco.Sandal.Surf!
We are a young family, Fernando (portuguese), Eva (czech) and our daughter Maia.
Ever since we moved into this land on June 2009, we are more and more in love with the place, now it came the time to share it with others...

Escape from the city to the Portuguese SW countryside!
The area is beautifull... dozens of amazing beaches, countryside and mountain, the South Western corner of Portugal its the perfect place for a relaxing healthy vacations in contact with Nature.

the eco.Sandal.surf is situated 5km south from the vilage of Aljezur at the organic farm, Monte do Olho Branco, in the (still wild) SW coast of Portugal, the Algarve region...
8km from the main beaches, Vale Figueiras, Arrifana,Monte Clérigo, Amoreira, and 25km from the city of Lagos.
Down here its all about surf, sun and beautifull beaches on a stunning coast all situated inside a Natural Park (Parque Natural do SW alentejano e Costa Vicentina).

eco.Sandal.Surf gives you the chance to have your vacations in a small holding organic farm (Monte do Olho Branco) surrounded with beautyfull nature, where you can stay in a simple house, with two individual beds and one sofa that opens into a couple size bed, the house also has a litle kitchen. maximum 4 persons capacity!

its also possible to stay camping at the land, close to the river or by the pond!

We provide camping ground with beautyfull views, compost-dry-toilet, outside shower and access to the river and pond where its possible to swim:)
We also grow organic vegetables and fruits, so you are welcome to get some directly from the garden to your plate:)

respect and care for Nature, animals and people is our way of life so be counscious of that when you come to our place.

We can also provide you:

- surfing material, wetsuits, surfboards,
- bicycle
- organized day trips to visit the nicest places in the region;

but please let us know in advance so we can book it for you, for the time you will be staying at our place.

We suggest that you bring your own means of transportation (we dont ensure trips to beach everyday);
Bring your own tent and sleeping bags;
any other things that you might need for yourself.If you need something but dont want to carry it, let us know, maybe we can provide it to you.
